Sarah Bywater is a beautiful mother, wife, and teacher to many! Sarah and her husband Ryan have four beautiful children, three sons and a daughter. They live in Kaysville. Their family enjoys spending time together watching movies with a bowl of popcorn, riding bikes, four-wheeling, going to the beach, watching a good game of football (especially BYU), playing and watching soccer, and being outdoors.  Sarah is a 6th-grade elementary school teacher at Creekside Elementary in Kaysville. She has positively impacted the lives of countless incredible students and their families.  Sarah especially loves teaching math. Her favorite color is pink, and she loves peanut M&M’s.

Sarah was recently diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time. She is currently recovering from chemo and radiation, which she finished up at the end of February. She is now on a hormone blocker and a cancer pill in hopes that the cancer will stay away. :) As of right now, she has frequent checkups and bloodwork to make sure she is tolerating her medications and that nothing new is growing. Some days can be tiring because of the medicine, but overall, she is so grateful to be here and looks forward to relaxing this summer and enjoying her family. Sarah and her family wish to express their gratitude to Hopebox Theatre for having such an incredible mission and to the cast and crew of Matilda, who have welcomed them into their theatre family with open arms.
